Three vehicles driven away

SHEIKHUPURA, Jan 16: Unidentified highwaymen on Wednesday took away three vehicles from different parts of the district.

Four armed dacoits intercepted a car (091/Karachi) on the GT Road near Muridke. They snatched the car from its owner and drove away with it.

Three robbers snatched a car (LXG-6329) from near Qila Sattar Shah on the Lahore Road.

Four robbers took away a mini-bus (AA-8567) from near Ferozewatwan. They also broke the legs of driver on resistance.

Police are looking into the matter.

TWO KILLED: Two persons were killed in different road accidents here on Wednesday.

Imran Ali, a BA student, was knocked down and killed by a speeding tractor (VRD-3698) near Kot Abdul Malik. He was on his way to the college.

Factory Area police have registered a case against the absconding driver, Muhammad Ali.

Idris was run over by a speeding car near Mandi Faizabad on the Jaranwala Road. He died on the spot.

Area police are investigating into the matter.
