SHEIKHUPURA, Jan 16: Scores of residents of the Ghang Road have protested against the inefficiency of police to nab a gang of outlaws involved in teasing girl students.

The protesters on Tuesday told newsmen that despite repeated requests, the police had failed to arrest the gang.

Delegation head Qaisar Mahmood said the gang could always be seen in front of the Malik General Store in the stadium park, using foul language with the female students. He said the outlaws went on robbery heist at night.

He alleged the police had kept their lips tight and never bothered to take action against them.

He urged the police chief to deploy officials in plain clothes to apprehend the culprits.
