Public meetings banned

ABBOTTABAD, Aug 23: A complete ban has been imposed on public meetings, processions and display and use of arms in the district of Abbottabad under Section 144. The ban was imposed by the DCO under CRPC ordinance.

Out of 51 union councils, four union councils were declared highly sensitive and FC will be deployed in Bandi Attai Khan (Havelian), Tajwal and Nagri Bala (Nathiagali) and Shiekhulbandi (Abbottabad city).

Syed Feroz Shah DPO Abbottabad, giving the details of law and order arrangements, said that reserve staff has also been called from other districts and special monitoring cells has been established which will be functioning round the clock to face any emergency.
