Riaz guides SECP home

ISLAMABAD, Aug 22: Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) took an unbeatable lead in a three-match series by beating Combined Stock Exchanges XI by six wickets at the F-9 Park.

Electing to bat, the Combined XI made 164 for eight off their 25 overs with Afzal Rahat hitting 28 runs and Abid Habib contributing 21. The chase for SECP wasn’t too difficult and although they lost four wickets, they were home in the 23rd over.

Riaz Shahid led the way with a fine 57 followed by Ahmed Zareef’s 50. The first match of the series was also won by SEC by five wickets.
