Constable killed, another injured in road accident

GUJAR KHAN : A police official died and another was critically injured in a traffic accident on Sunday morning.

Police said constables Qaisar Aurangzeb and Ali Hasnain were travelling on their bike from their native town Kalar Syedan to perform security duty at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. When they were crossing the Mankiala bridge a speeding car coming from the opposite direction hit their bike.

As a result, Qaisar Aurangzeb lost his life while Ali Hasnain sustained serious injuries. The car driver, Mohammad Rafiq, was arrested by Rawat police.
