LAKKI MARWAT, Jan 16: Two people were crushed to death in two separate accidents, one by a speedy passenger vehicle and the other by a tractor.
Police sources said a man, Amir Hamza, was hit by a passenger coaster (3244-DNC) when it was crossing the main Peshawar-Karachi highway at Shahbaz Khel Adda, 42km from here. He was rushed to a hospital but he succumbed to his injuries there.
In another accident, which took place some 35km from here in Serai Naurang police station jurisdiction, near Mitho Ghazni Khel, a young boy of 15 was crushed by a sugarcane-loaded tractor when he was endeavouring to pull out some sugarcanes from the tractor trolley.
