Seaview floodlights

KARACHI’s Seaview beach used to have floodlights for the night and people would visit it in the evenings to have fun and enjoy with their families.

Now the whole place remains dark after dusk. Instead, restaurants are being opened at various spots to make money. I wonder why those lights have been switched off by the cantonment board.

There is already a shortage of places for leisure and the only place that people used to come and enjoy is now all dark.

The authorities concerned should switch on the floodlights and ensure they are properly maintained.
