ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s top seeded players Aqeel Khan and Muzammil Murtaza, after convincingly winning their first round matches on Wednesday, moved into second round of Serena Hotels National Ranking Tennis Champion­ships being played here at the PTF Complex.

In their singles matches, they were in fine touch as Muzammil outclassed Ahmed Kamil in straight sets 6-4, 6-1 and Aqeel overcame Huzaifa Abdul Rehman also in straight sets 6-1, 6-1.

A total number of 52 matches were played on the 3rd day in the Men’s singles, Men’s doubles, Ladies singles 18&U singles and 14&U singles 1st Round. A large number of players are participating in the mega event from all over Pakistan by exhibiting their talent.
