KARACHI, Aug 19: The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) has condemned the cancellation of declarations of four newspapers and magazines in Pakistan under the Press and Publication Ordinance.

“The IFJ joins its affiliate, the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists, in strongly condemning this action of the government, terming it a direct attack on the freedom of the press,” a statement said on Friday. — PPI
