LAHORE: Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) Chairman Azfar Manzoor visited the IT section of the Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department here on Friday.

On the occasion, P&S Health Secretary retired Capt Muhammad Usman briefed the chairman of the IT projects of the department.

The health department has decided to expand cooperation with the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) in technical matters to enhance its performance.

The secretary said that the health department had established the best human resources management system of the province by using the resources of the department.

He said that personal files and complete data on more than 150,000 health officials and employees was online.

The record of all medicine throughout the province have also been digitalized.

Mr Manzoor said the IT wing of the Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department is commendable.

He further said that the support and resources of the PITB were always available for the betterment of the health sector.

He also directed its team to handover the all completed project to the department.
