KARACHI, Aug 16: Man-of-the-Match, Fahad Mushir, grabbed seven wickets to power Zone II (Blues) to a four-wicket victory over Zone VI (Blues) and advanced to the last eight of under-17 KCCA Inter-zonal trophy on Monday at TMC Sports ground.

Off-spinner Fahad did the damage as Zone VI (B) were restricted to 148 runs in 41.5 overs, while batting first. He conceded only 31 runs in his seven-wicket haul. Asad 39 was the top scorer for Zone VI (B).

Zone II (B) achieved the target in 45.4 overs for the loss of six wickets. Wazir Hasan blasted six boundaries in his 61.

In the other match, Zone VII (Whites) also sailed into the quarterfinal by overpowering Zone III (W) by 60 runs at Asifabad ground.

Brilliant 88 runs innings by Masood Sabir who was later named Man-of-the-Match and four-wicket haul by Sheeraz Ali for the winning side were the highlights of the match.
