10 tourists killed in accidents

ABBOTTABAD, Aug 15: Ten tourists were killed and six others injured in two road accidents near Thandiyani and Nathiagali on Sunday. Eight people were killed and one injured when their vehicle fell into a ravine near Kala Pani. The tourists belonging to Johar Chowk, Rawalpindi, were coming from Thandiyani. The victims included, Khalil Qureshi, Mehfooz Qureshi, Liaqat Ali, Shehzad, Safdar Ali and Tanveer.

Nadir Shah and his son Fayyaz, 12, of Hayatabad, Peshawar, were killed when their vehicle skidded off the road into a ravine near Battangi Mor while they were returning from Nathiagali. Nadir Shah’s wife Safedan Bibi, daughters Aneesa, 6, and Yousra, 4, and sons, three-year-old Nauman and one-year-old Waleed, were injured.
