Pakistan envoy meets Russian minister

MOSCOW, Jan 15: Foreign Ministry official, Aziz Ahmad Khan held talks with

the Russian counterpart Alexander Losyukov on Tuesday on the continuing tension with India, the Pakistani Embassy said.

The two sides also discussed the post-war situation in Afghanistan.

The issue of nuclear non-proliferation and terrorism was on the agenda of the talks, the Interfax news agency reported.

The Pakistani envoy is scheduled to leave for Russia on Thursday and may meet Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov, according to the embassy.—AFP
