KARACHI, Aug 15: The date for submission of admission forms for Class XI in government colleges and higher secondary schools in the city has once again been extended.

The EDO (Higher Education), Prof M Rais Alvi, said that the central admission committee of the city government on Monday decided to extend the date for sale and acceptance of admission forms through designated bank branches up to Aug 20.

The decision to change the dates was taken in view of the upcoming local body elections. He said that the students of all categories should avail the opportunity and submit the forms latest by Aug 20 as no further extension would be given.

It was learnt that during the last two weeks about 70,000 admission forms were sold through banks, but rate of return of forms duly filled was not up to the expectations of the authorities.
