QUETTA: Balochistan Finance Minister Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi has said that the provincial government has approved the Turbat City Development Project.

Mr Buledi told journalists on Saturday that work on the Rs3 billion project would start soon after consultation with all stakeholders.

The project includes construction of a dual carriage road and a model school, new design of the district hospital, and the Turbat Safe City Project.

The minister said that Rs150 million has been earmarked in the Turbat Safe City Project for making the city an ideal divisional headquarters.

Members of the Kech Civil Society have appreciated efforts of Mr Buledi and the provincial government for initiating development projects and allocation of Rs3bn for the Turbat Development Project.
