DADU: A woman and her two-year-old granddaughter were killed and five other family members were injured when the courtyard of their house in Bajhi Khan village within the Kachho belt collapsed on Tuesday.

The deceased were identified as Imrana, 50, and her granddaughter, Erum.

The injured were taken to the Johi Taluka Hospital for treatment.

Residents of the neighbourhood took out the seven persons from under the rubble of the house, located some 20 kilometres from Johi town.
