Pindi park

Published December 9, 2019

THIS refers to a poorly-maintained public park in NCL Colony.

The park is not maintained at all owing to utter neglect by the authorities concerned. Besides, some anti-social elements create disturbance and are a hurdle in the maintenance of the park.

They come to the park for gambling in broad daylight and create commotion. This has resulted in the park becoming a safe haven for such characters.

The park has also become a pasture for cattle and a resting place for stray dogs. If no immediate action is taken, the park will turn into a gambling den and a nuisance to the colony residents.

I urge the authorities concerned to take immediate action.
