MUZAFFARABAD, Aug 12: The by-election for the LA-25 Muzaffarabad seat, which fell vacant due to the death of AJK senior minister Syed Mumtaz Ali Gillani, will be held on Sept 26, the AJK election commission announced here on Friday.
According to a handout, nomination papers will be received till Sept 1 and scrutinized on Sept 2.
Appeals against acceptance or rejection of the papers may be filed at the chief election commissioner’s office in Islamabad on Sept 5 and they will be heard on the same day.
The final list of candidates with election symbols will be issued on Sept 10.
