KARACHI: Deployment of army urged

KARACHI, Aug 12: The chief of the Al-Khadim group, Muhammad Siddique Rathore, has demanded the deployment of army at all polling stations for upholding the sanctity of the vote.

He made this demand at a press conference at the Karachi Press Club on Friday.

Mr Rathore, who was accompanied by Abdul Razzaq Sangani, said in the presence of foreign monitoring teams that it was all the more necessary to ensure the sanctity of votes, which was not possible by the civil administration.
