Bridge events

KARACHI, Aug 11: Data Steel will host two major events for Karachi Bridge Association (KBA), said a press release issued on Thursday. First, they will launch a team event on Swiss League basis to celebrate the 58th Independence Day of Pakistan. The Independence Day Bridge Tournament will be held at Aslam Memorial Bridge Hall on Aug 14.

Attractive cash prizes are offered to the top four positions besides Rashid Jafer-Sultan Siddiqui Awards for the best Play, Defence and Bidding.

The Second event to celebrate the first anniversary of Pakistan Bridge University, a two-day competition shall be held from Aug 27 at the same venue.

It would be an Individual Movement event, just to add new flavour in the competitive bridge.—APP
