LAHORE, Aug 11: Punjab Independence Day U-18 badminton tournament entered the semifinals stage on Thursday.

Results: Singles (quarterfinals): Arslan bt Mohammad Sajid 15-7, 15-3; Hammad bt Hafiz Irfan 15-11, 15-7; Aasim bt Danish 15-7, 7-15, 15-5; Faisal bt Awais 15-10, 15-4.

Doubles (quarterfinals): Arslan-Furrukh bt Usman-Qasim 15-11, 12- 15, 17-14; Mubashar-Mazhar bt Abdul Manan-Faizan 15-5, 15-4; Shahid-Aasim bt Danish-Salman 11-15, 15-12, 15-3; Hammad-Ali bt Asif-Mustafa 15-7, 15-4.
