NEW DELHI: “Every nation, once in its life, has a fall, which consequently is followed by a rise. Muslims in India had been a fallen nation for the last 200 years. Now they have realised it and want to emerge a powerful Nation”.

Thus observed Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah speaking at a public Id reception held in Qarol Bagh under the auspices of the Muslim Association.

Mr. Jinnah continued, “A wave of consciousness is spreading all over the Muslim countries of the world and there is a marked change in their method of approach to their political and social problems.

“What share the Indian Muslims will contribute to this world-wide awakening is yet to be seen.

“Let us do our task in such a way that our coming generations may not be ashamed of our actions…”
