PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police in a major reshuffle on Tuesday transferred 19 officers, including the district police officers of several districts.

A notification issued from the central police office here said that DPO Kohat Wahid Mahmood had been transferred and posted DPO Dera Ismail Khan, replacing Dilawar Khan Bangash, who has been transferred and posted SSP Counter-Terrorism Department KP.

SSP CTD zone Dr Mohammad Iqbal has been transferred and posted DPO Khyber tribal district, replacing Mohammad Hussain, who has been posted deputy commandant Elite Force KP.

The notification said that SP traffic Peshawar Fazl Ahmed Jan had been transferred and posted DPO Mohmand tribal district, replacing Abdur Rashid, who has been posted SP investigations at the CPO.

It said that Mohammad Quraish Khan, awaiting posting at the CPO, had been transferred and posted DPO Kurram tribal district, replacing Rahim Shah, who has been transferred and posted SP special branch KP.

AIG establishment Sadiq Hussain has been transferred and posted DPO Manshera, replacing Zaibullah Khan, who has been transferred and posted AIG establishment at the CPO.

SP investigations Swat Shahid Ahmed has been transferred and posted DPO Hangu, replacing Ihsanullah, who has been posted SP CTD.

Commandant campus police Waseem Ahmed Khalil has been transferred and posted SP traffic Peshawar. DPO Nowshera Mansoor Aman has been transferred and posted DPO Kohat, and chief traffic officer Peshawar Kashif Zulfiqar has been transferred and posted DPO Nowshera.

Syed Khalid Mahmood Hamdani, DPO Swabi, has been transferred, and Imran Shahid, awaiting posting, has been posted DPO Swabi.

DPO South Waziristan Atiqullah Wazir has also been transferred and posted deputy commandant Rapid Response Force KP.
