LAHORE: After a four-prone contest on the final day, Qasim Ali Khan of the host Lahore Gymkhana, emerged as winner of the 36th Millat Tractors Governors Cup Golf Tournament here on Sunday.

There was a close contest on the final day among the four, namely first-day leader Rizwan Raees Khan, Omer Zia and Hussain Atta besides Qasim. But Qasim’s three-day aggregate of 213 saw him edge Omer and Rizwan who both ended a shot adrift.

Hussain Hamid’s 232 saw him take the gross title ahead of Zunair Aleem Khan (234) and Kamran Khan (237).
