ISLAMABAD: As part of the ongoing reorganisation process in accordance with its new constitution, the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) on Saturday divided the party’s Sindh chapter into four regions.

PTI’s chief organiser Saifullah Khan Nyazee in consultation with the party chairman and Prime Minister Imran Khan has notified the new devolved structure for Sindh, which has been divided into Northern, Central, Western and Eastern regions.

The decision to divide the party’s Sindh chapter into four regions has been taken for the upcoming local government elections in the province and beyond, says an official announcement by the party’s central media department.

A nine-member governing body for the Central region has been notified with Sadaqat Ali Jatoi as president, Khawind Bux Juhijo as general secretary and Tufail Khattak as information secretary.

Fazal Khan has been named as president and Rizwan Bangish as general secretary for the Peshawar region, while Fazal Hakeem Khan will lead the party in Malakand region and Badhir Khan will be general secretary.

The PTI KP has been divided into four regions. Malakand and Hazara regions comprise Malakand and Hazara divisions, respectively, while the Peshawar region comprises Peshawar and Mardan divisions. the South region comprises Kohat, Bannu and Dera Ismail Khan divisions.
