NAWABSHAH, Aug 9: Ten supporters of the PPP-backed Awam Dost panel, including three brothers of Ismail Dahri, former PA to Senator Asif Ali Zardari, were booked here on Tuesday.

The case was registered under section 53, 324, 147, 148, 149, 504 PPC by SHO Daulatpur Suleman Wagan on behalf of the state.

The SHO stated that he was attacked by the accused when he went to Budho Dahri village to arrest an absconder, Punhal Bhutto.

He said Ibrahim, Asfar, Ali Raza (brothers of Ismail Dahri), Mohammad Hassan, Asghar (brother and nephew of Amanullah Dahri, candidate of ADP of nazim from UC Khar), Alam Bhutto, Asghar Bhutto (cousins of Murtaza Bhutto, ADP candidate of naib nazim from UC-Khar, Bashir Dahri (son of Allah Dino Dahri, ADP councillor candidate from UC-Khar), Jan Mohammad Bhutto and Mehrab Bhutto and 304 unidentified people came out with rifles, axes and clubs and stopped the police and abused them.

No arrests were made till the filing of the report.
