U-20 football trials

LAHORE, Aug 6: Trials to select Pakistan team for the AFC U-20 football championship qualifying round will now be held on Aug 20 instead of Aug 10 at the Punjab Stadium. The Pakistan Football Federation has already announced the names of 77 probables for the trials. Only players born on or after Jan 1, 1987 will be eligible to appear.

Besides the 77 probables, other footballers are allowed to appear in the trials after proving their age. Pakistan are to play two matches of the qualifying round in Tajikistan. First, it will face Uzbekistan on Nov 23 and then the hosts on Nov 25.
