Tourism secretary robbed

KARACHI, Aug 6: Armed men robbed Federal Tourism Secretary Saleem Gul Shaikh and his cousin of mobile phones, official cards and a PIA ticket, behind the New Sindh Secretariat here on Saturday.

Mr Shaikh and his cousin had come to see the editor of the PPI news agency and were waiting for him in their car. Two men on motorcycle approached the car and robbed them of their mobile phones and wallet at gunpoint.

Later, Mr Shaikh and his cousin went to the Preedy police station and lodged an FIR.—PPI
