KARACHI: The director general of Sindh Rangers, Major General Omar Ahmed Bukhari, on Friday met with prominent religious scholars belonging to different schools of thought and exchanged views with them about security arrangements for Chehlum of Imam Husain, due to be observed on Sunday.

The Rangers chief informed the ulema and organisers about overall security arrangements and assured them that the law enforcement agencies will take all-out measures to ensure security.

He called upon the ulema of different schools of thought to play their role in maintaining peace and harmony.
