DADU: Three passengers were killed and seven others were injured when a Jamshoro-bound van overturned at Lakky Shah Saddar town, 11 kilometres from Sehwan, on Thursday.

According to Motorway SP Shafiq Arain, the van overturned because of overspeeding. The bodies of Ms Amna Arain of Muzzaffargarh, Ali Hassan Chohan of Garhi Khuda Bakhsh and Fatah Mohammad Jamali and the injured were brought to Syed Abdullah Shah Institute of Medical and Health Sciences in Sehwan.

The condition of four of the injured identified as Naheed Chandio, Mubarak Arain, Mohammad Hussain and Ramzan Chandio was stated to be critical.

Police have impounded the vehicle and started investigation.
