KARACHI: Conjoined twins die

KARACHI, Aug 5: The conjoined twins having separate heads but combined chest and abdomen died around 8.15 am at the National Institute of Child Health on Friday. The twins born about six days back were admitted to NICH on Aug 2 where doctors were primarily giving them a treatment for severe respiratory tract infection.

Dr Iftikhar Ahmad Jan told Dawn that in view of severe complications, the death of the twins was natural.
