KARACHI, Aug 5: Four ships carrying containers and steel scrap are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, T.M.M. Hidalgo, Iran Baabaei, Kota Teraju, Golden Express and Y.M. Faha, to unload and load containers, were berthed after the departure of seven.

The ships, which departed included Harmony, PONL Vera Cruz, Golden Express, Hyundai Stride, Y.M. Moon, Steven-C and Mariam-6, while Corin Thaikos, Y.M. Faha, Iran Baanaei, T.M.M. Hidalgo, and Kota Teraju are expected to sail out on Saturday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was brisk where a total tonnage of 75,598 comprising 21,655 tons of export cargo and 53,943 tons of import tonnage was handled. The following ships are due on Saturday: Sagamore, Maersk Alaska, Monoxylion, with containers, and Ponto Poros, with steel scrap.
