ABBOTTABAD, Aug 1: Two students were killed and 16 others received injuries when a private college van fell into a deep ravine here on Sunday evening. The students of the Institute of Computer and Management Sciences (ICMS), Peshawar, had gone on a tour of Nathiagali hill resort. When they were returning to Abbottabad their vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a ravine near Battangi turn, killing one Majid Ibrahim on the spot.

The injured students, including four girls, were taken to Ayub Medical Complex where Naveed Ahmad succumbed to his injuries. Four other students were in critical condition. The injured were identified as Maazullah, Naveed, Alam Zeb, Rafiq Shah, Imran, Zabeel Ahmed, Ahmed Hanif, Jehangir, Mohammad Shafiq, Nauman, Shiraz, Hayat, Alysha, Aqsa, Shagufta and Saima. Hospital sources said that all the injured students, except two, were shifted to Peshawar by the ICMS management.
