Swimmers, coach for Bangkok

LAHORE, July 31: Syed Moeed Mustafa and Ghulam Sakina accompanied by a national coach Hafeez Bhatti will leave for Thailand on Tuesday to take part in a training/coaching course prior to participating in the Asian amateur junior swimming championship in Bangkok.

The camp set up by the Asian swimming body starts from Thursday. A FINA-appointed Australian coach Paul Coilin will conduct the camp.

The Asian championship is scheduled to be held in Bangkok from Aug 19 to 22.

Hafeez said that a 30-member Pakistan team would reach Thailand on Aug 16 to join Moeed and Sakina.

Hafeez will attend a coaching course. He will act as coach to the Pakistan team in the Asian championship.
