KARACHI, July 31: The MNA of the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA), Muhammad Hussain Mehanti, has resented the harassment of residents of the government quarters and appealed to Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz to take immediate notice of the situation.
In a statement on Sunday, he said that despite clear assurances of the federal housing minister, the estate office was harassing the residents of the government quarters by sending them notices of increasing the rent and vacation. He said that some conspiring elements wanted to make a mess of the issue.—PPI
