LAKI MARWAT, Jan 14: To eliminate sectarianism from society the police started nabbing alleged terrorists on Sunday night.

According to police they have arrested more than a dozen activists of Sipah-i-Sahaba, Jaish-i-Mohammad, Tehrik-i-Jaferia Pakistan, Hizbul Mujahidin and Harkatul Mujahidin.

Those arrested are Juma Khan, Mohammad Saeed, Amir Ahmad, Taj Ali, Murtaza Husain Shah, Akhtar Husain Shah, Gazanfar Husain Shah, Kamran, Sajad Halim, Rehman Hussain, Sadullah, Shaukat Hussain, Sabz Ali Naweed, Ilyas, Moha-mmad Yasin, Azad, Mohammad Shafiq and Moha-mmad Ismail.

They have been charged under sections of 16 Maintenance of Public Order (MPO), 3/4 Laud Speaker Act and 188 PPC.

The police also sealed the offices of Jaish-i-Mohammad and Harkatul Mujahidin in Laki Marwat and Serai Naurang.

However, some people are not pleased about the arrest of some innocent members of the banned groups, and leaving out some Ulema who have been making fierce speeches promoting sectarianism.

Also, some unknown men began firing in the air with Kalashnikovs and pistols a few hundreds yards from the police station as soon as the president concluded his speech.
