Two held with heroin

SUKKUR, July 30: Police arrested two people and recovered one and a half kilograms of heroin from their possession on the Rohri-Babarloi road, near here, on Friday night. The Rohri police stopped two suspects, Mehboobur Rehman and Saeed Ahmad Khoso, while checking vehicles and recovered the heroin from them. The accused were waiting to board a passenger vehicle when they were caught. According to Rohri SHO Jehangir Khan Mahar, the accused used to supply heroin to paddlers in rural areas.—BoC
