KARACHI, July 30: Five men, including two Afghan nationals, were gunned down and a woman was stabbed to death in separate incidents here on Wednesday. Two men were found shot dead in Korangi Industrial Area. Police said that Shah Wali, 28, and Nazar Mohammad, 30, hailing from Chaman lived in a house in Junaid Manzil, K-Area. Their relative Sakhi Jan came to see them on Saturday morning and found them dead.

Police believed some personal enmity as the motive behind the killings. In Landhi, the bodies of two Afghan nationals were found in bushes at a deserted area near Dhobi Ghatt.

The victims were identified as Hazrat Khan, 28, and Akhtar Khan, 30. According to the police, the circumstantial evidence showed that both the victims were kidnapped and were subjected to torture and shot dead.

Police believed the motive of the murders as personal enmity. In North Nazimabad, a man with the help of his half-brother and stepmother shot his father to death. All the suspects were held by the police.

In Sohrab Goth, a woman was found dead in her house near Al-Asif Square. Police said that Maheena Dildar Khan, 38, was found lying in her house in a pool of blood. The police picked her husband Dildar Khan for questioning.
