ISLAMABAD, July 30: The President, Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL), Rasheed Akhtar Chughtai on Saturday urged the need of introducing some radical and catalyst changes in the bank’s structure to make it a farmers-friendly institution. “To achieve the vision of the bank, we need to redefine and reorganize the working of ZTBL, with a new structure that provides us ground zero for other activities to spring from it,” Chughtai told the bank’s senior executives here.

Unveiling the re-organizational plan of the bank, the ZTBL President called upon the senior management to carry out responsibilities with commitment and uncompromising integrity to revive the glorious past of the bank.

He urged them to make the bank a sustainable and viable commercial institution having focus on rural finance with the objective of expanding outreach through innovative package of customers friendly products and services. Rasheed Chughtai said an anti-corruption unit has been established in the bank to check corruption and corrupt practices and make the staff accountable of their performances.— APP
