Four rest houses auctioned

SARGODHA, July 29: The Punjab Privatization Board, headed by Riaz Ahmad Khan, has auctioned four rest houses situated in the suburbs of the city “without observing rules and regulations.”

Board members, including Shahzada Khurram, Javed Qadir Sundeera and Syed Ali Ausat Shah said Asian canal rest house was auctioned for Rs1,540,000, Ghorianwala rest house for Rs1,135,000, Kandianwla rest house for Rs860,000 and Jehanabad rest house for Rs610,000.

They claimed that the whole process was transparent. They said the rest houses fetched handsome prices.
