Heavy rain forecast for Sindh

Published July 29, 2005

KARACHI, July 28: Karachi and most other parts of Sindh are likely to receive heavy downpours. A weather advisory issued by the Met office on Thursday said that a significant monsoon low pressure area over central parts of India is moving westwards. By this depression, widespread rain/thundershowers with moderate to heavy rains are likely to occur over most parts of Sindh, including Badin, Tharparkar, Thatta, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas and Karachi districts during the next 48 hours.—APP
