LAHORE, July 28: Syed Parvaiz Hussain Shah, a member of the Lahore Race Club (LRC), has been co-opted as LRC steward for the on-going 2004-5 term. The seat had fallen vacant after the death of Mir Ikram Mahmood, who died recently. A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of LRC stewards. Parvaiz, who is a prominent race-horse owner and a breeder, had been on the panel of stewards for a couple of times earlier. His inclusion had been made under article 27 of the Articles of Association of the club.—AG
