DADU, July 25: The flood water passing through the Dadu-Moro bridge on Monday, inundating 50 villages in the kutcha area while water was developing pressure on the LS Bund and J-spur of the Dadu-Moro bridge. The inundated villages included Dano Chandio, Siyal, Daim Kharial, Gulab Shaikh, Sultan Jatoi, Machhi, Saheb Machhi, Chehwan, Saindad Ja Bhan, K.T. Ghaloo, Kaiti, Kharial, Shah Dino, Qaim Kharial, Koreja, Chhutto Mastoi and others.

Flow of the Indus has washed away 100 feet of north side of the J-spur near the Dadu-Moro Bridge and pressure of water was developing on the LS Bund near Dadu. Hundreds of acres of kutcha area were flooded from Shah Punjo to Kotri.

The Assistant Engineer of Dadu-Moro bridge sub-division said the river was changing its course from original bed and the water was developing pressure on the front side of the J-spur.

ELECTROCUTED: A woman, Najma, wife of Ahmed Bux Panhwar, was electrocuted when she touched a live electricity wire in the Butra Panhwar village, Dadu taluka, on Monday.
