LAKKI MARWAT: Police found the slaughtered body of an unidentified man dumped along the Indus Highway in the limits of Serai Gambila police station here on Saturday.

A police party headed by SHO Syed Ayaz Khan was on a routine patrol in the area when it spotted the body along the highway.

The cops, however, did not find any identity card on it, said the SHO, adding that the body was shifted to Serai Gambila rural health centre for postmortem.

SHO Ayaz Khan said the shirt the victim was wearing had the words ‘punishment of a traitor - Zubair Salim, son of Salim Azad, Gulgasht Colony, Shaheen Street, Multan, Punjab’, written on it.

Police registered the case against unidentified accused and started investigation.
