KARACHI, July 23: Patricia, owned by Shah Mardan Shah Pir Pagara and trained by Mumtaz Ali, is our fancied when the Summer Gymkhana race meeting beings at the Karachi racecourse on Sunday.
Patricia is drawn with ten contenders in the five furlongs seventh race of the afternoon. He is likely to be chased by Queen Of Sanghar and Fantastic Again for a place.
A programme of nine races, seven spread over five furlongs and two going through six, have been chalked out for the day. The first race begins at 1.00 p.m.
Desparado is likely to dictate terms in the first race with twelve horses in the fray for contention. On the Run and Little Sunny will fight for the place.
Smokey Prince should run away with the second race to be contested by ten horses. Royal Wisdom and Piyari Mehbooba willfight for the place.
Kinjher who posted an amazing victory in the June 26 meeting with Ghous Bux in the saddle, loks a good thing to clinch the third race.
Trained by Manzoor Baran, Lady Freedom should annex the fourth race.
