LAWYERS and members of the judiciary who have been protesting and demanding that the government take back its request to investigate two high court judges for irregularities have Pakistanis confused.

Do these people not trust the judiciary? If this is true, how can they work for the same judicial system?

There are good judges and bad judges. For example Ex-MNA Hanif Abbasi was declared a criminal by one court for supplying chemicals for manufacturing drugs that have ruined many lives in Pakistan, but another court acquitted him.

Since we have a mechanism to investigate corrupt judges, I think Pakistan should use it. Without justice there cannot be healthy, productive society.
