WITH the same amount that the government worked with, I asked the opposition to present its version of the budget to us, the people of Pakistan.

I want to know what and how the opposition plans to structure the loans repayment. I want to know in plain words, what will be the rates of electricity, gas, petrol, sugar, pulses, rice, oil etc.

The opposition should tell us in layman’s language what the taxes will be in its budget and how much it will allocate for development projects.

The opposition can have its version printed in the newspapers for us to compare. Everything doesn’t have to be in parliament where no one lets anyone speak. Let the opposition tell us its game plan.
