Three postal employees released

KHAIRPUR, July 21: The A-section police released on Wednesday night three postal employees, Azizullah Channa, assistant post master, mail sorter Subhan and mail peon Abdul Samad Soomro of the General Post Office, Khairpur, after interrogation on Wednesday night. Two employees — cashier Khaliq-ur-Rehman Mastoi and clerk Abdul Samad Memon — are still in police custody. Work at the Khairpur GPO remained disturbed on third day.

BODY RECOVERED: The Thari Mirwah police found the body of an unknown youth from the Thari Mirwah canal near Thari Mirwah on Wednesday night.

According to police sources, the body has torture marks. It was buried in a local graveyard on Thursday.
