THIS is apropos the news item (June 12) about the decision of the Indian prime minister to avoid flying over Pakistan despite Islamabad’s offer to allow its airspace to the plane carrying Narendra to Bishkek.
Although it is sagacious for Pakistan to behave maturely, it should not be at the cost of national pride. An obsequious approach is detrimental, especially when Indian hubris is sky high under a myopic leadership.
