KARACHI, July 21: Six vessels carrying railway bogies, general cargo and containers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was fairly active where seven ships — Kuo Hung, Kota Wangi, Y.M. Energy, Hyundai Advance, Kota Tabah, to unload and load containers, Stolt Vanguard, to unload toluene, and Caroline-7, to offload palm oil — were berthed after the departure of four.

The ships, which departed included APL Pusan, Germana, Elbe Oldendroff and Swat, while Kota Wangi, Y.M. Energy, Golden Express, Kuo Hung, Caroline-7 and Capetan Michalis are due to sail out on Friday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 65,195 tons comprising 8,284 tons of export cargo and 56,911 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Friday: Maersk Alaska, Wan Hai-262mSagamore, Iran Shahryar, with containers, Dan Yang, with general cargo, and Beluga Energy, with 70 railway bogies.
